Daejeon City announced on the 6th that it will conduct a fact-finding inspection on 42 designated maintenance companies for comprehensive automobile inspection from the 7th to the 27th.
The joint inspection team plans to visit the workplace to examine the overall automobile inspection process, such as ▲ compliance with the inspection method ▲ securing technical personnel ▲ compliance with inspection facilities ▲ status of inspection equipment and facilities.
In the first half of this year, companies that have too high an acceptance rate for automobile inspections, lack of inspection results, and frequent civil complaints will be sampled and inspected in detail.
Han Sun-hee, director of construction and transportation at Daejeon City, said, “As automobile inspections are directly related to citizens’ safety, we will correct wrong practices and block fraud such as false inspections.”
